hahaha Henry Thomas' career truly tanked. Poor guy.

Hey there, Michael Offutt, Visionary! (See what I did there?) He's been doing pretty steady work, actually. And getting more and more handsome.

ROFLMAO!!!! Too funny! Especially for -ahem- the ones who remember seeing the original in theatres, not that I would know, -cough-, just that some people might, y'know?! Hahahahahha

I've always thought Henry Thomas was handsome even when I was a kid and he was a kid...maybe I had a kid crush on him...hmmm. I'm glad he's doing steady work. Maybe he'll become mainstream again. For example, I love how Jason Bateman reinvented himself and is in movies again now (he was in Family Ties). And as an aside...I also think he's incredibly good looking. Par for the course where Hollywood is concerned.

@Autumn: Yeah...I know what you mean. I thought *those people* would appreciate the trip down memory lane.

@Michael: Have you noticed that even actors who play the ugly / quirky / not-super-good-looking characters are still gorgeous? (I'm thinking Kathy Bates, Philip Seymour Hoffman.) Hollywood ugly is not real life ugly. Agreed on Jason Bateman. He has the most lovely nose.

I do remember seeing it in the theater the day it opened. My wife and I were in college, and she couldn't believe we would stand in line to see a movie.

This is brilliant, if disturbing.

Wow, that was funny. I do remember watching it in the theater. Yes that dates me but oh well.

I saw it in the theater too! No worries - you're only as old as you feel. :)

Love ET!

New follower and fellow crusader - nice to meet you!

Hi, Elizabeth! Thanks for following my blog! One of the very first movies that comes to mind is The Last Unicorn! :)

Btw, I love your last name. Elizabeth Twist is so memorable!
